The exceptional performance from the hybrid HYdrofoil SUpported CATamaran (HYSUCAT) hull provides an ideal platform for a fast, spacious and stable interceptor-style patrol boat.  The slender, high dead-rise planning catamaran hull provides excellent sea-keeping up to sea-state 4 which is considerably enhanced by fitting a hydrofoil between the catamaran hulls.  With the resultant speed increase of approximately 35%, top speeds of 45kts~50kts are achievable with modest engine installations.

The wider beam of the catamaran hull enables light-calibre weapon stations to be fitted Forward and Aft on all STEALTH technology patrol vessel designs.  Being of GRP construction, hull laminates can be upgraded with Aramid and Kevlar reinforcements for improved ballistic resistance, exterior surfaces can easily be couloured for camouflage effect and styling and derived shape are for performance and reduced radar reflection.
